Neutral Fall Centerpiece

Hi friends! Today’s post is all about a neutral fall centerpiece that I’ve been loooooving in our breakfast nook lately. And even better, this post is part of a fun home tour I’m doing with a group of talented bloggers and we’re all sharing purdy fall decor. How fun is that?! If you’re joining me from Laura with Junque Cottage, or any of the other blogs on our tour, welcome! I’m thrilled to have you here today. Come on in and get comfy, I’ll start the coffee.

I wanted to keep this centerpiece simple and practical since we use this table allllll the time. It’s basically the command center of our home. We eat here (obviously), the kids do craft projects, I have my morning and afternoon coffee here, and half the time this is where I’m working on the blog. It’s a high traffic spot, so I wanted to make a centerpiece that could stay here all the time and not get in the way. This was the perfect fit.

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with copper candles lately–they’re just so darn perfect for fall. These are from WildLust Wicks and I’m crazy about them. They don’t even need to be lit to make the whole room smell like heaven.

Believe it or not I found this old dough bowl at a large yard sale/flea market thingy in a school parking lot earlier this spring. I think I paid one dollar for it. I mean, how does that even happen in real life? I’m still amazed.

I’ll be honest with you. I have no clue what these stems are called with the little white balls. No idea whatsoever. All I know is that I found them at Michael’s in the fall decor section and I thought they were pretty so I bought them and went on my merry way.

I feel like I could post 10 more shots of this little centerpiece. I just love the combination of the copper with the white pumpkins and that old wooden dough bowl. Simple and easy, just the way I like it. Be sure to let me know what you think and definitely say hi if you’re new around here–I always LOVE hearing from you fabulous people that read my blog! And I’d be thrilled to have you join me over on FacebookInstagram, and Pinterest.

Ok, now grab a snack and be sure to stop by the other blogs in our home tour to see even more more purdy fall decor. Enjoy!

  7. This space is beautiful with that centerpiece as the highlight!! Totally makes me want to grab a cup of coffee and take a seat at that fun farmhouse bench. Did you paint that table yourself? I have a table painted like that and I need to seal it. If you did it yourself, can you tell me what you used to seal it?

  11. Sarah,

Okay, can I say how jealous I am that you actually bought a dough bowl for A DOLLAR??! Wow! It is gorgeous – and that was a steal! And I love the way you styled it, too. Casual, natural, and simple but still seasonal and fresh!

Thanks again for joining us for our fall tour!

Your centerpiece is beautiful and fits your space so well. A dollar for that dough bowl, amazing. I got a round one about 10 years ago at a garage sale for $5. The lady said it was her mothers but it wasn’t her style so she was selling it. I use it all the time.

  • Mom finished her first 10k 🙌🏻🙌🏻 It was such a fun day & I’m honestly so glad I decided to challenge myself & do this. Sure, it was only 6.2 miles, but this race (and all of my running leading up to it) was one of the first things I’ve done for myself in a loooooong time. My health has totally been on the back burner since having my third baby. But three months ago I started running to help with my anxiety & worry-about-all-the-things syndrome. I fell in love & it’s been SO good for me. Running is one of my favorite things to do now 👏🏻👏🏻 I want to encourage all of my fellow mama’s out there to make time for yourself. Do something for YOU. Take the class. Book the ticket. Go for the run. You are worth it! ❤️❤️
  • Cheers to the weekend, coffee in bed + sunshine in the forecast 🙌🏻☀️ Our snow is melting, which is GOOD news because my first 10K is tomorrow. Eeeek! Fingers crossed I can make it through with my old lady hip🏃‍♀️💨Happy weekend buddies! ❤️ http://liketk.it/2FL0i #liketkit @liketoknow.it #ltkhome
  • Breaking News: It snowed in Colorado today ❄️❄️ Normally I’d be less than thrilled about this kind of thing, but I figure why not have a little fun. Sometimes you just gotta accept what you can’t change & make the best of it, right?! Besides, doing a live weather report in the freezing snow is pretty fun. (watch my stories if you missed it!) Happy almost-weekend buddies! ❤️

  • Snug as a bug in the coziest weekend spot 🙌🏻🍂 I finally got the back patio spiffied up for fall & this is officially my new favorite spot to hang out. Let’s just hope I can keep those new mums alive for more than a few days 😬👩‍🌾 Hope you all had the best weekend! http://liketk.it/2FAOU #liketkit @liketoknow.it
