Girls Bedroom + Gap Home

Hi there sunshine! And happy Tuesday to you. I hope your week is off to a great start. We are in full summer mode over here and I have to say, it’s pretty awesome to have a more laid back schedule. No more early bed times, or rushing out the door to school. It’s just a very relaxed vibe lately. But with that, my productivity has gone waaaaaay down with the kids home. I find myself just wanting to hang out with them and do fun stuff, instead of working. Definitely struggling a bit to find a good balance of all-the-things, but I’m learning to be ok with stuff just not getting done. I’m trying to prioritize what really matters and say no to everything else for now!

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that Walmart just released a brand new Gap Home collection and this one is all about KIDS DECOR!! There are so many great bedding options, area rugs, throw pillows, curtains, shower curtains, towels and more. I am loving this new line and I just ordered a couple of items for my daughter’s room!

This rainbow comforter is so dang cute! And its organic, which is a huge plus. I also love that it’s reversible, so she can switch sides whenever she gets bored of the rainbows. This organic pink stripe throw blanket is also from the Gap Home Kids collection.

These large pom pom pillows match the rainbow comforter perfectly! They add such a happy little pop of color!

This chambray stripe floor cushion is also a Walmart find. It feels more like a little bean bag than a cushion–my daughter loves it!

I love this sweet little room so much and what’s funny is that my seven year old daughter is obsessed with decorating. She is constantly moving things around in her room, just like I did when I was that age, and it’s always perfectly clean. She loves to have everything in its place! I wish I was a bit more tidy like her, but at least she got my love of decorating!
