Helllllo you fabulous human beings! Today I’m sharing a super simple and easy DIY Christmas wreath that you can throw together in 5 minutes and it only costs a few bucks. There are 3 things I love about this wreath: 1) It’s crazy easy 2) It’s inexpensive 3) There’s no gluing. The benefit of not using glue on this wreath means you can simply remove everything after Christmas is over and then you’ve got a grapevine wreath ready to use for something else. Of course you can hot glue everything into place, but it’s totally not necessary. So this is a temporary Christmas wreath, if you will. And holiday wreaths are so dang expensive, so this little project is a big win in my book. Okie dokie, let me show you how to make it!
Supplies:
- Grapevine wreath of any size
- Christmas-y fabric
- 2-4 holiday floral stems
Start off by cutting a wide strip of fabric–any length from about 12-24 inches will do depending on how far you want the wreath to hang. I doubled the fabric up so it was a thicker strip and a little more sturdy.
Then simply loop the fabric over one side of the wreath.
Then take 2 to 4 floral stems and insert them on the lower half of the wreath. I like the ones with wired picks, that way you can bend it securely in place.
And that’s it. DONE!
I hung my wreath on this an old onion crate insert–it works great for layering. I just used a piece of heavy duty tape on the back to secure it in place.
I really love how simple this wreath was to put together. I’ve mentioned it before, but grapevine wreaths are my favorite. They’re so rustic looking and can be used in a ton of different ways–plus they’re really cheap, which is always good. And the great thing about this project is you probably already have a grapevine wreath sitting around the house, so it’s a nice way to make a few easy and affordable holiday wreaths in a jiffy. All right my friends, that’s all for me today! Let me know what you think and if you have any questions–I always love hearing from you!
So cute and easy! Thanks for sharing ????
Thank you Lezlie!

Love the wreath. You come up with the cutest ideals.
Thanks so much Jonita!
Where do you find an onion crate insert? I wouldn’t even know where to begin looking.
I love your wreath. So beautiful and simple. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Susan! I believe the onion crate was something my mom had sitting around in her barn actually. I see them at a lot of yard sales and flea markets, and you could always try Craigslist!
Very cute and nice inspiration with the mantel!
Excited about the new season starting tonight! 😉
What did you think of the new episode Deanna!? I recored it, think I’ll have to watch it again today it was so good!

Thank you so much sweet Doreen!
So simple but beautiful! Totally wish I had that artistic/DIYer side to me…sadly I do not. But this project looks simple enough even for me : )
I love this, Sarah..especially the not using glue part…win/win for the changing seasons! Layering it on the mantel was a great idea!
Exactly, now I can use this wreath for something else later on. Thanks for stopping by Leigh!
