If you need an easy decor idea for an empty wall, this simple basket “gallery wall” is a great option. This is quick, inexpensive and can be used to fill empty wall space in a hallway, bedroom, living room, or even in between windows/doors. It adds a lot of pizzaz without much effort! OK let me show you how my basket gallery wall turned out. Here’s the before of the space:
And here is the after:
So cute, right?! (Watch the video of me putting this all together HERE.) I started out in the upper right hand corner and then worked my way down from there. I knew I’d have the lamp here, so I tried to keep that in mind as I placed the baskets on the wall. I just used tiny nails for each one!
Most of these baskets are from Hobby Lobby, but you can find similar options on Amazon too. I actually found a few sets of baskets that are a better deal than buying then individually. This is a great set here! I like to use baskets with a variety of colors and textures just to give more interest. Also the wooden bench is an old Target find. I actually have two of them now. They’re such a great size for small spaces like this.
Well I hope that helps if you’re looking for an easy decor idea to fill an empty wall! Thank so much for stopping by the blog today. xoxo
