DIY Beverage Station & Summer Patio Decor

Finally, the time has come for The Home Depot DIH Workshop Virtual Par-tay! In last week’s announcement I shared that I’ve partnered with Home Depot, along with a group of talented bloggers, to bring you a fun DIY beverage station. This has been such a great project to work on and I’m so excited to show you how it turned out. And the good news is you sign up for the upcoming DIH workshop at your local Home Depot to learn how to make our project yourself. So let’s get this party started! Here’s what we are making:

Cute, right?! And perfect for summer. I’m happy to say this project was simple to put together. And affordable–I believe all materials cost under $40. All the bloggers involved in this virtual party have made this exact beverage station, while adding their own personal style and flare. You know I had to put a little vintage goodness into mine, so here’s what I did!

You guys, I seriously looooove this table. I’m so happy with how it turned out and I know it will be great for all the summer BBQs I have coming up soon. Of course I painted it white (I used Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Pure White) and then lightly distressed the edges with sandpaper. I also added this nifty vintage bucket—which fit perfectly.

I then nailed on white corbels to two of the upper corners. I really wanted to add a bit of farmhouse charm and I thought these would be just the thing for the job.

Well there ya have it, perfect beverage station for summertime. And very DIY-friendly. I’m actually thinking about making one more for our lower deck!

I’d love for you to join in on the fun and learn how to make your own beverage station. The DIH workshop is FREE at your neighborhood Home Depot and it’s this Thursday, June 16th. All the info you’ll need to register is listed below. They’re getting ready for the fun at my local Home Depot–I saw this poster there last week!
