One of the main reasons we moved from the “big house” was to find something with a more cozy, home-y feel. Despite my best efforts, that house just never had that vibe. Sure it was gorgeous, but it wasn’t cozy. Thankfully this house is oozing with coziness and everyone we missed so much. I finally got the living room put together and wanted to share how it’s looking so far!
I love this room SO much. It’s warm, cozy, and super inviting.
Eventually I’d love to do something to that blank wall behind the TV. And I might change up that fireplace stone one day too, but it’s looking good so far! We sat in here the other night watching football, with a pumpkin spice candle burning and the fireplace going and it just felt so good. I don’t think I realized how much I’ve missed that “cozy home” feeling.

Your new house is so homey looking! I love the porch! I was happy to hear you say that your big house just wasn’t a comfy place to you. Most of us would like (want) that new house, some of us don’t want to spend the $’s but would like (want) a new house. Maybe the house we’re in is just perfect and we don’t realize it🤷🏼♀️
