Anyone in the mood for a good ol’ fashioned Friday Favorites?! I sure as heck hope so because that is what’s on the agenda today my friends. And as usual, it’s about as random as it gets. I have lots to share, including a few fun Etsy finds, fall decor inspo, a fix for spray paint on my kitchen table, and lots of other tidbits from the week. But first I want to chat about my brand new fancy schmancy planner I got a few weeks ago because I’ve been LOVING it. It’s another Erin Condren planner and I think this is number seven for me, so my obsession is real, guys. But they’re just soooo darn good. I use it to keep track of appointments, deadlines, school events, goals, etc and I pretty much never schedule anything in my phone. I’m just old school like that I guess. Anyway, I know many of you are also planner nerds, so I wanted to share a few photos in case you’re thinking about ordering a new planner too.
This year I decided to go with the luxe planner because I love how sturdy it is–the cover is like leather and super durable. I also did the horizontal layout, just because I feel like I can write more this way compared to the vertical layout. And I like the notes section at the bottom of the page. I usually write my goals for the week there.
Erin Condren has dozens of planner options, gratitude journals, teacher planners, etc. So if you’re a planner nerd I definitely suggest taking a look. Here are a few of my other favorites:
Door Mats for Fall
I was browsing Etsy for some fall decor earlier this week and I came across so many adorable door mats. There are tons of cute options, but here are a few of my favorites for fall:
fall decor
We’re getting closer and closer to September and that means fall decor will be in FULL SWING before we know it. So I went ahead and put together all of my best fall decor posts over on this page. You can hop over there to see every single post I’ve ever shared for fall.

I have to rave about this lemon oil because last week it took SPRAY PAINT off my white kitchen table and I’m still in shock about it. Seriously, this stuff is a magic worker. I had several large spots of black spray paint on my table (thanks to a little mishap with that tray I painted) and I tried everything to get it off. Nothing worked and I really thought I was going to need to repaint the table. Then I tried a few drops of lemon oil directly on the paint and scrubbed it with an old toothbrush. The spray paint came right off! I was amazed. Definitely something to keep in mind if you ever find yourself with a painting mishap too! (More on my love of oils here.)
Other random tidbits from the week:
- Earlier this week I ordered these hooks and I’m working on a really fun DIY project with them. Stay tuned for that!
- I discovered Rachel Hollis a few days ago and I fell in love with her uplifting, encouraging spirit. I’ve been wanting to read her book for a long time now because I’ve heard such amazing things about it. Have you read it?? I need to order it ASAP.
- I’ve been drinking this hot tea lately. And even though it’s pretty awful tasting, it’s a really great detox tea and good for digestion. I try to drink it a few times a week.
- For about a month now I’ve been using this eyeshadow palette and I am obsessed with it. I use it every day. The shades are all SO good and it’s one of my favorite shadow palettes ever.
Well that’s a wrap for me. Thanks SO much for stopping in today!! I hope you have a fabulous weekend and I will see you right back here Monday morning. xo

Of I don’t have a planner at hands teach I’m a list chicky! Love the door mats. I was at a store yesterday but could not decide they were all sooo cute. I gotta go back before they’re gone! Eeeks!😖 I’ve been looking at your past fall decor. Really pretty! Can’t wait to do that. Well thanks again Sarah. Have a great week-end!💞💕xoxo

I love that tea as an obsessed tea drinker, but it is a must to drink it with honey. I use a locally source honey (and hide it away from the kids cuz it is expensive) as that helps build up immunity with seasonal allergies. You can also add cream to it.

Cant wait to see what you do with the hooks! Please hurry! I have an empty hallway that needs some inspiration. TIA!
