Why Did I Start Using Oils?

So I kind of stumbled into essential oils in May 2018 when I found myself completely exhausted after dealing with months of constant sickness in our household. Really, for almost six months were continously battling rounds of colds, fevers, coughs, etc. I finally came to a point where I was ready to do something about it and make our family’s health my #1 priority. In addition to cleaning up our diet and cutting way back on sugar and processed food, I decided to give essential oils a try. So I did some research and ordered a starter kit from Young Living. As soon as that box of goodness arrived on my doorstep I was hooked and I completely fell in love with it all. I started using oils to support our family’s immune system, our emotional health, energy, focus, sleep, and SO much more. There is literally an oil to help with EVERYTHING.

Creating a Toxic Free Home

Quickly after I started with oils I began learning about the terrible chemicals and toxins that are in so many of the household products I was using around our home. I learned how those chemicals can wreck havoc on our bodies–even causing issues with our hormones and how our bodies and minds function. And even worse the longterm use of these chemicals is linked to terminal illness and cancer. So in addition to using essential oils, I started making the switch to safe, non-toxic and plant based products from Young Living. I even started using the Young Living makeup and I LOVE it!

Why Young Living?

I decided to go with Young Living over other popular oil companies because all the research I did kept pointing me back to their crazy high quality standards. They have all their own farms and they even personally distill their own oils. Their oils are beyond organic and even the soil they grow the plants in has never been treated with pesticides or chemicals. I LOVE that. And it means you’re using an oil with just ONE ingredient, like Lavender, Frankincense, or Lemon. There are no fillers, no additives and no chemicals whatsoever. Many oils that are cheaper or “more affordable” are full of pesticides and toxins that start from the very beginning, but Young Living doesn’t do that.

Much more cozy now 👏🏻👏🏻 Do you move things around in your home from one room to another? • My little kitchen island is one of my favorite things in our home + I always get so many questions about it. It was actually made from reclaimed barn wood & we’ve had it over 10 years now 😍😍 I bought it when we moved into our first home & it’s been with us ever since. I kinda have an emotional connection to it now—it’s been through so much with us. Do you have furniture like that?? I’ll probably still have this island in my kitchen when I’m an old granny! 👵🏻❤️
